Warners Solicitors was delighted to support the Kent Community Foundation’s inaugural “Community in Focus” Photography Competition, a celebration of the vibrant and diverse charitable organisations that enrich communities across Kent.
To mark its 25th anniversary in 2026, Kent Community Foundation invited charities and community groups to submit images capturing their work, people, and activities. The competition attracted an impressive 179 entries from 93 organisations, reflecting the depth of community spirit across the region.
The judging panel included Tim McHugo of Warners Solicitors, alongside legendary Royal Photographer Arthur Edwards MBE, professional photographer Graham Baker, and Kent Community Foundation Chief Executive Catherine Glover.
The overall winning entry, submitted by FASD Awareness, has been awarded a professional photography session and a £200 donation. Celebration Church and PROJEKT EUROPA were named runners-up and will each receive a £200 donation. All prize funds were provided by Warners Solicitors.
Tim McHugo, Solicitor at Warners Solicitors, said:
“It was a genuine privilege to be part of the judging panel and to see the remarkable stories captured through these images. The quality of the entries was exceptional, making it incredibly difficult to select just three.
A picture may say a thousand words, but the heartfelt stories behind each photograph made them all shine. We were thrilled to support this fantastic project and help spotlight the invaluable work of local organisations.”
The shortlisted images will be showcased as part of Kent Community Foundation’s special anniversary celebrations in 2026. Warners Solicitors’ sponsorship reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to supporting charitable and community initiatives throughout Kent.
Further details about the event will be announced soon.
