Warners Solicitors is pleased to announce the launch of its Charity of the Year initiative for 2025/26, selecting Hospice in the Weald as its partner for the upcoming year. The decision comes after a staff vote, reflecting the firm’s commitment to supporting local charitable causes that have a direct impact on the community.
Hospice in the Weald is a well-loved charity dedicated to providing free compassionate palliative care for adults and children facing life-limiting illnesses in Kent and East Sussex. The Hospice offers invaluable services such as inpatient care, day services, and community-based support for patients and their families.
This partnership marks a significant step in Warners Solicitors’ long-standing tradition of giving back to the local community, and it aims to raise both funds and awareness for the essential services provided by Hospice in the Weald. Throughout the year, Warners Solicitors staff will be engaging in various fundraising activities and events to help support the Hospice’s ongoing work.
Louise Brenlund, Partner at Warners Solicitors, said:
“We are proud to be supporting Hospice in the Weald as our Charity of the Year. The incredible work they do for individuals and families during such challenging times resonates with us, and we are excited to be part of their mission. We hope our support will help raise much-needed funds and shine a light on the essential services they provide to the community.”
Lisa Browning, Relationship Fundraising Manager at Hospice in the Weald, commented:
“We are thrilled to have been chosen by the team at Warners Solicitors. Independent to the NHS, Hospice in the Weald needs to raise £25,000 every day to fund the specialist free care our dedicated teams provide for adults and children in our community. This support will make a real difference to the lives of those we care for at a time when they need us most, and we look forward to working together throughout the year to raise vital funds for our services.”
Warners Solicitors is committed to fostering a culture of social responsibility, and this announcement marks the beginning of a collaborative year to support Hospice in the Weald and the local community.
