Yasmin is an Associate in the Employment Law Team, based in our Tonbridge office.
Yasmin provides expert advice to individuals and businesses on all aspects of English employment law, with experience spanning the full spectrum of employment matters, from advising junior employees to board-level executives. Yasmin regularly assists clients with drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements, and workplace policies to ensure they are robust, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Yasmin is skilled in handling complex contentious matters, including claims involving discrimination and unfair dismissal. She guides clients through the employment tribunal process with clarity and confidence, always adopting a pragmatic and commercially minded approach. Her practice covers both contentious and non-contentious employment law, enabling her to provide rounded, strategic support.
Yasmin has a particular interest in delivering training on employment law topics. She regularly provides tailored sessions for managers on conducting disciplinary and grievance procedures and managing discrimination risks in the workplace.
Having qualified as an employment solicitor in 2005 at a large regional practice, Yasmin spent nearly a decade advising employers and employees across a broad range of issues. After a career break in 2016, she returned to private practice in 2023, working with well known employment law firms in London and the South East before joining Warners.
Yasmin has developed a strong niche advising healthcare clients, particularly GP practices across Kent, on a wide variety of employment matters. She also acts for employers in the care sector, helping them navigate sensitive employment issues to mitigate the risk of regulatory scrutiny. Yasmin enjoys delivering bespoke training to healthcare organisations, including designing and presenting tailored employment law workshops for Kent GP practices.
Committed to social justice, Yasmin regularly provides pro bono advice and assistance in employment tribunal claims. Outside of work, she actively supports several charities through fundraising initiatives and has served as a primary school governor.
