The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018 and will affect most businesses in the UK. The government has confirmed that the UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect the commencement of the GDPR.

If your business holds records of personal data, including customer, supplier and employee information you will need to be compliant. To avoid potential sanctions this data must be held, processed and protected in accordance with the GDPR.
