Joanna Dunlop



Joanna’s experience includes a wide range of private client matters including Wills, powers of attorney, administration of estates and trusts.

Joanna has a degree in Theology from Oxford University and, after completing the conversion course to law, began a training contract in 1995 at Rowe & Maw in London (now Mayer Brown). She qualified in 1997 into the firm’s private client department. In 1999 she moved to Farrer & Co where she worked in the UK private client team until 2002. She then joined Berwin Leighton Paisner in order to gain broader offshore experience. In 2006, after the birth of her son, she worked in a Kent firm until 2011, when she left to focus on her two young boys for a few years. In 2016 she joined the private client team at Warners in Tonbridge.

Joanna is the Welfare Officer for Langton Green FC and spends a lot of her spare time ensuring that FA safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained in relation to coaching activity with under 18s. She also manages her son’s football team there. She is a keen historian and regularly attends lectures on Anglo-Saxon history at Sutton Hoo.

  • Joanna has been involved in lifetime inheritance tax planning and with probate matters.
