Warners Solicitors secures Law Society’s new quality mark

Warners Solicitors in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks has been one of the first firms in the country to secure membership to the Law Society’s Wills & Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS).

Warners Solicitors underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to secure WIQS status, which marks the firm out as meeting high standards for wills and estate administration advice.

The Law Society website states that “The Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme provides a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice that consumers can trust. The scheme design is based on a Wills and Inheritance Protocol that sets client service standards to ensure transparency in process, costs and communications.”

Mary Shaw, head of the Private Client team says: “Warners Solicitors is delighted to have secured WIQS status. Drafting wills and dealing with the affairs of loved ones who have sadly passed away can be a stressful time. Choosing a solicitor to help in that process should now be a lot easier. By looking for a WIQS firm like Warners the public can seek out a firm that has proved its commitment to quality.”

The scheme requires practices to undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain WIQS status. It is open only to members of the Law Society who meet the demanding standards set by the scheme.
