Kent based firm Warners are delighted to announce their conversion to an LLP from the beginning of October and also welcome staff to new roles within the firm.
Bill Wass, Senior Partner / Chairman of the firm will be stepping down as head of the Commercial Property unit in Tonbridge and handing over to fellow commercial property partner Darren Millis.
Bill has led the property team for over 12 years, initially leading the property department handling both commercial and residential properties, and then took development of the commercial property practice when this was established as a separate unit in 1999. Since taking on the role and establishing the team as one of the most developed commercial property practices in Kent, Warners have secured a number of high profile clients from national housebuilders to premiership football clubs.
Bill will retain his role as chairman and continue as a lawyer within the commercial property team working closely with Darren over the next year.
Bill commented on this change:
“I welcome this change enthusiastically and I am sure that Darren will, with an entirely different management style to mine, not only make a success of the role, but move the Team and Commercial Property group forward substantially during his tenure”.
Other new faces to the firm include solicitor Claire Rawlinson who joins the Sevenoaks residential property team from the Salvation Army in-house legal department, Nina Allison and Alice Biggs-Davison who begin their two year training contract to become solicitors following completion of their legal studies and Karen Cole from Days Solicitors in Maidstone who joins Warners as a trainee legal executive within the litigation team.
