Warners Assists in Fast Track Expansion

Warners Company Commercial team has assisted Fast Track Financial Management Limited in its purchase of Norwich based independent financial advisors Trinity Financial Planning Limited.

The Fast Track group of companies includes Alexander Vidler Limited, Bridgehead (UK) Limited and Fund Intelligence Limited, which between them provide a wide range of professional financial services to clients based in the UK, Europe and the USA.

The group has seen a rapid expansion in recent years including a move to larger premises in Tunbridge Wells and the launching of “Fund Intelligence”, the group’s new discretionary investment service. The Trinity purchase is the group’s first acquisition outside the south east of England.

Patrick Smith led the Warners team and was assisted by Jonathan Roberts and Russell Brinkhurst. Darren Millis dealt with Property aspects.

Patrick Smith explained “We have worked with Fast Track and its subsidiaries for a number of years on various different arrangements and were pleased to act for them on this acquisition. Matters were complicated by a number of complex contractual arrangements within the target and the fact that the transaction needed to complete before 5 April for tax purposes. We were able to assist our client in meeting this timescale by close co-operation with the various teams involved.”
