Our equine lawyers have extensive experience in helping clients in the equine sector. Warners’ equine specialists were involved in DEFRA’s last consultation over a possible amendment to Section 2(2) of the Animals Act 1971.

We are members of the British Equestrian Trade Association. We can help clients with a range of issues including pursuing professional negligence claims against their vets and breach of contract and/or misrepresentation claims relating to the sale and purchase of horses.

Tim Ryan focuses on the criminal and regulatory side of agriculture law. His areas of specialism include animal welfare, firearms licensing and country sports.
