Many firms of solicitors are still very defensive about their charges. At Warners we have very specific policies towards fees. These include:


Being Open
We will always raise and discuss our charges with our clients in advance of commencing any work. Sometimes of course we will have to get some of the background so we can assess how much there is to be done. Where possible we will give you an estimate of the likely overall cost involved. Where this is still unclear we will give you the best estimate we can at that time and of course review this with you as we progress. We will also confirm fee related issues to you in writing.

 

Charging and Payment Methods To Suit Clients

We recognise that different types of problems and clients require a flexible approach to charging. We will always discuss with you the best method for you. Some clients pay by credit card, others prefer billing as the matter progresses. Some clients like us to act on an hourly rate, whilst for some clients and matters we can agree a fixed fee to give the client the benefit of certainty.


Recognition of Value and Results
We recognise that no client likes paying legal fees. With this in mind we never lose sight of what the client really wants. At Warners therefore we aim to give you a real return for your fee. This might be in terms of problem solving, sympathetic and constructive advice, compensation, or a good result on a transaction you are involved in. Ultimately, we want you to feel you have had value for your money.
